So very sad. I knew Mike through working on a series of big Corporate projects and presenting at conferences together in Italy and Holland. Sure he was a great academic and clearly a master of his subject but actually........I will remember him not like that all, but mainly as a thoroughly good guy who I really liked, got on with and thought of as a friend. Rest in peace Mike, hope there is the odd glass of Barolo available up there. Condolences to all his family! Jon Lawton
