I have fond memories of Mike, benefitted from his teaching and experience and laud him for his huge contribution to South Africa, his land of birth. In a very real way he was the father of Executive Coaching in South Africa. His generosity in establishing and continuing for years to subsidize the education of coaches at high level was outstanding. The discipline of coaching worldwide has lost an icon, an academic leader and a good man. I for one will sorely miss him. (Victor)
